7-Day Calvary Men’s Fish Camp Retreat in Alaska

July 7-13, 2019

There is limited space available, so it’s first come, first serve. A $350 deposit will hold your spot. Register below!
 
The retreat is held at 153 Fish Camp on Prince of Whales Island in Alaska at Whale Pass. 

Cost: $1150 due May 1, 2019. Price includes:

  • Camp fee, including all meals while at camp plus snacks, lodging.
  • Round trip Air on Alaska Airlines from Seattle to Ketchikan.
  • Round trip ferry from Airport to Ketchikan.
  • Round trip ferry from Ketchikan to Prince of Whales Island.
  • Fish boxes for storing and shipping your fish caught.
  • Transportation service for fish boxes from inner island ferry to airport.
  • One day on halibut boat in deep waters. All tackle needed is included for the halibut trip.
  • 7 day sport fishing license through the state of Alaska.
Whats not included:
  • Shipping your fish box home.
  • Meals while traveling.
  • Salmon fishing tackle, (poles, lures, etc….) Camp has lures for purchase.

What to pack:

NOTE From camp: Out of respect for other guests, please do not bring alcoholic beverages. We will be keeping a “dry” camp.

Fishing Gear & Tackle (Medium to heavy action spinning rod works fine, (heavy line, braided works good).  Local tackle can be purchased in Ketchikan or on the island if necessary).  See Fishing Info for more on tackle.

Rubber Boots and/or Hip or Chest Waders

Layered Clothes (Long-sleeved shirts, t shirts, sweat shirts, etc.; weather can range from 50s to high 70s)

Spending Cash ( for ferry meals. Not all local vendors accept credit cards)

Sun glasses (polarized are best)

Rain Gear (it is known to rain)

Snagging hooks   #8 treble with 2 ounces of lead, or you can buy them at camp for $2.00ea.
